About the tour

Spend 7-Days deep in Mexico’s Lacandon Jungle with host Dakota Wint (Dakota of Earth). Stay in a remote Maya community and travel on foot into the rainforest alongside local Maya guides to reach a very rare undocumented lost city, hiding in the forest.

The jungle is protected and legally governed by the indigenous communities who live in the region. For this reason, governments and archaeologists are not formally allowed in.

This is not a conventional archaeological tour. This is an expedition grounded in respect, cultural permission, and direct experience of a living landscape that few outsiders ever encounter.

Day-to-Day Schedule

Please note: Itineraries may be adjusted due to weather, site access, jungle conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
