Please note that unexpected events, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances could necessitate changes to our itinerary.

Booking Details:

1. Full price: $4,500 USD

2. A $1,000 USD NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to secure your booking and support The Community Garden Foundation’s charitable endeavors. This deposit must be paid upon booking confirmation. Please only confirm if you’re committed. If you cannot make the retreat, the deposit can be used for future retreats. This must be made known a month before.

3. The remaining balance is due upon arrival. Payment methods include cash (USD, Euro), bank transfer, Zelle, or credit card (a 5% fee applies).

Inclusions:

1. Accommodations for 10 days 9 nights

2. All meals with organic local food. Options for vegetarians and vegans.

3. Travel within Turkey starting in Sanliurfa, including private buses, visits to archaeological sites, guides, VAT, Government fees, and donation for our charitable efforts.

Exclusions:

1. International flights, domestic flights, visas, travel insurance and personal expenses not mentioned above.

Additional Information:

1. Profits are allocated to The Community Garden Foundation for cultural preservation projects in Turkey.

2. Our program includes contributions to local communities (Sogmatar families) and guide services.

3. Your participation acts as a charitable donation, tax-deductible in the USA.

4. We ask guests to arrive one day early

1. Participants should be prepared for long drives and packed days full of adventure.

2. Activities may involve walks in natural settings; a moderate fitness level is recommended.

Day 1: Arrival in Şanlıurfa

We ask our guests to arrive one day early

• Hotel: Âlâ Han Boutique Hotel

• 6:00 PM: Orientation and introduction meeting.

Day 2: Şanlıurfa Starting Day

• Visits: Şanlıurfa Archaeology Museum, Haleplibahçe Mosaic Museum.

• Meals: Breakfast (7:00–10:00 AM), lunch (1:00–2:00 PM), and dinner (6:00 PM).

Day 3: Göbekli Tepe and Surroundings

• Visits: Göbekli Tepe, Sayburç Archaeological Site, Kızılkoyun Necropolis.

• Meals: Breakfast (7:00–10:00 AM), lunch (1:00–2:00 PM), and dinner (6:00 PM).

Day 4: Harran and Ancient Cities

• Visits: Harran, Shuayip Ancient City, Bazda Cave, Sefertepe Archaeological Site.

• Meals: Breakfast (7:00–10:00 AM), lunch (1:00–2:00 PM), and dinner (6:00 PM).

Day 5: Halfeti and Euphrates

• Visits: Şanlıurfa Historical Bazaar, Halfeti (Euphrates River boat tour).

• Meals: Breakfast (7:00–10:00 AM), lunch (12:00–1:00 PM), and dinner (7:00 PM).

Day 6: Karahan Tepe and Soğmatar

• Visits: Karahan Tepe, Soğmatar.

• Meals: Breakfast (7:00–10:00 AM), lunch (1:00–2:00 PM), and dinner (6:00 PM).

Day 7: Mount Nemrut

• Visit: Mount Nemrut (2-hour journey).

• Meals: Breakfast (7:00–10:00 AM), lunch (late), and dinner (6:00 PM).

Day 8: Cappadocia Tour

• Visits: Kaymaklı Underground City, Cappadocia sightseeing.

• Meals: Breakfast (7:00–10:00 AM), lunch (1:00–2:00 PM), and dinner (6:00 PM).

Day 9: Hattusa Archaeological Site

• Visit: Hattusa (3-hour journey from Ankara).

• Meals: Breakfast (7:00–10:00 AM), lunch (12:00–1:00 PM), and dinner (7:00–8:00 PM).

Day 10: Departure from Ankara

• Morning: Goodbye meeting and breakfast (7:00–10:00 AM).
