What We’ve Done

Haviv

  • The Haviv Journey was our very first fundraiser — a grassroots effort that raised over $18,000 to save the life of a 7 year old named Haviv from Urubamba in the Peruvian Andes after a long medical battle.

  • 📂 What Happened

    • 🏥 Emergency Care: The funds helped fly Haviv to Lima for surgery and ongoing treatment.

    • 🛖 Family Support: We also covered housing, transportation, food, and emotional support throughout her long surgeries and recoveries.

    • 💡 Why It Matters: Haviv’s story became the heart of The Community Garden. It reminded us that direct action, even from across the world, can mean the difference between life and death.

"She made it because people cared. Simple as that."

Escuela Uno - Amazonian Art School

  • A grassroots art school in the remote Peruvian Amazon.
Escuela Uno is a creative space just outside the main school — where kids gather to draw, paint, and express their imagination. Built in partnership with the local school and community, it's a simple open-air hut that feels more like a jungle studio than a classroom.

    • Offer art classes for children from the village

    • Provide school uniforms, art school supplies, and learning materials

    • Organize annual village-wide art competitions with prizes

    • Support the main school with basic needs

    • Collaborate with elders to create a visual plant guide — helping kids learn and memorize the traditional uses of their environment

    It’s more than a school — it’s a seed for the future.

Turkey village

  • In 2023, we raised $57,000+ USD to directly support a small village in Turkey devastated by the earthquake. As government resources went to the cities, villages were left to fend for themselves in the most horrifying event you can imagine. This wouldn’t have been possible without the reach and generosity of MiniMinuteMan (Milo Rossi) and his audience. Together, we turned views into real-world aid.

  • A transparent breakdown of how $60,000 supported a village in need:

    • 🧱 Home Repairs & Materials: Rebuilt 5 homes damaged beyond use.

    • 🛏️ Basic Needs: Mattresses, stoves, heaters, blankets, and daily essentials.

    • 🤝 Local-Led Distribution: Funds were handed directly to trusted community leaders for quick, accountable use - along side our staff.
